When theory meets practice
Students from 9th and 11th majoring in “Automated Systems” and “Automation of Continuous Production” at Vl. Komarov High School got acquainted with the activities of the company MECHATRONICA AD in Gabrovo. With the help of Tinusaur, they visited the company’s modernly equipped factory. There the packaging machines are designed and manufactured as well as the packaging products, which are used all over the world.
In the engineering and production department, the students learned more about the history of the company and various other activities, which were explained to them by the company founder. They saw how the production process takes place – planning and construction of a machine according to the specific needs by the customer, machining of details, and electronic equipment, and putting the machine into production.
The young engineers showed great interest in what they saw, as they had never seen such high-tech production lines before. They received gifts and an offer of a summer internship at the modern factory.
Students visited Mechatronica – Gabrovo as a part of their educational process, created by the founder of Tinusaur Neven Boyanov. It is included in the activities of Module 2 “IT skills for the future” of the National Program “Training for IT skills and career”. The main goal in the education of young people is the theory to have a practical application, said Mr. Boyanov.
